DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION FINANCIAL SUPPORT: 31 MARCH 2021
Matatiele Local Municipality’s commitment to skills development for the youth continues. The aim is to provide financial support for students from disadvantaged families to pursue qualifications of their choice. Young people from Matatiele who have matriculated and have been admitted to Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) for the academic year 2021 are invited to apply for registration fee assistance by the municipality.
An applicant must reside within the jurisdiction of Matatiele Local Municipality. The municipality further provide assistance for the students to other financial schemes/aid within the accredited IHL around the country.
COMPULSORY DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED ON THE APPLICATION
1. Matric Certificate/statement of symbol2. Acceptance letter from University3. Confirmation of payable amount for registration fee4. Proof of residence from the ward councillor 5. ID Copy (s)/death certificates (if deceased) /affidavit in the case of single parent• Student ID Copy• Parents ID Copies6. Proof of income• Letter from SASSA if parent/s or guardian is earning grant• Affidavit of unemployment or self-employed of the parent/s or guardian • Three months Bank statement of the parent/s or guardian • Confirmation of employment from the employer of the parent/s or guardian• Random physical verification will have to be conducted where needs be • False information will lead to disqualification.
